Independent laboratory testing can add a layer of evidence to product specifications. Nathalias Trust Center is designed to show testing status, report references and verification links only when such evidence actually exists.
Testing methods
GIT states that its Precious Metal Inspection Laboratory has operated since 2003 and is accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 across various scopes. The laboratory uses analytical instruments including XRF and ICP-OES for precious-metal purity determination, and its hallmarking process may use methods such as XRF, Fire Assay or Titration as appropriate.
Reporting data
GIT offers several report formats for precious-metal analysis, including Thai and English reports, image-based reports and Jewelry Reports. GIT’s Jewelry Report can include the item type, measurements, weight, precious-metal purity and a digital photograph.
GIT also maintains an online Report Verification service. The system is intended to provide preliminary information confirming issuance of a report, and currently covers submitted items from July 1, 2014 onward, subject to data-availability notes on older reports.
